HOW DO YOU WANT TO FEEL?

Feelings.

How do you want to feel?

On a daily basis we talk about feelings and are most likely aware of how we feel:

‘I felt so angry when that happened.’

‘I feel really happy. I just found out…’

‘I feel disappointed in her/him/myself for…’

‘I feel peaceful after that yoga class or meditation’

‘I feel frustrated and anxious.’ 

…and so it goes.

We’re aware of those feelings as and when they arise, and because they can be all consuming and override decisions we make about how we live our lives on a daily basis, yet seldom do we take the time to pause and ask the most pertinent question of all:

How do I want to feel?

When we’re in a state of anger or frustration, it’s pretty easy to recognise they aren’t feelings we’re fond of or ones we want to duplicate. Similarly, when we experience joy we’re aware that we feel good.

But we can go further, deeper.

We can learn to ask ourselves how we want to feel and start cultivating and bringing forth those feelings. We can start making decisions based on how we want to feel rather than how we don’t want to feel; cultivating the feelings that we want to embody.

Life becomes easier, more joyful and a whole lot more fun when we are aware of what our desires are and how we actually want to feel; which is why I created a special video for you.
